This project consisted of a replacement of an existing wastewater treatment plant that was about 40 years old. No bypass was needed for this project since the new WWTP could be built on the same property. M2 started by demolishing old exitsing structures which allowed for completion of the new Wastewater Treatement plant. The new treatment process included a headworks screens, 2 separate SBR trains (self contained), chemical feed, aeration, mixing, Equalization tanks, dentrification filters, post filtrations, as well as post aeration. A large block building was constructed to house the new plant and included HVAC. Once the new plant was online, M2 converted the existing plant to storage space as well as control rooms and office space. Once complete the plant could process average flows of 60,000 gallons per day with peak flows of 120,000 GPD.
