Eastern Pre Release WWTP Improvements

M2 Construction built a brand new Wastewater Treatment plant for the Eastern Pre Release Unit in Maryland. The work included a new masonry building for offices, conference room, lab and control room space, a new screen, 2 new MBR treatment trains, chemical feed, equalization tanks and post aeration. All equipment was controlled by the MBR manufacturer. The project included decomissioning of an existing lagoon and although the project had supply issues due to COVID the project was completed and started up without significant issue.
